I won't bore you with details of my beliefs. Suffice it to say that dragons are spirits that enter our lives when they feel we need them and may or may not leave if they see necessary.
Several months ago, mine wandered into my life quietly accompanying a new individual I was associating with at the time. This person and I fell in love and our dragons connected. His is much older and stronger than mine because she is a new hatchling. He and his dragon have been together for aeons and many lifetimes together. For a time, we believed we were meant to be together.I am a believer that everything happens for a reason. I am also a believer that if it is meant to be, your free-will decisions will not affect the end result; it will be as it should be. Circumstances in his life have made our connection a little more distant than we would like. Guenevire has been a great help to me recently and she loves him and his dragon as well. She also understands that maybe we are at the wrong time and place and she has helped me move on from that hurt.
We are confident that if the four of us are meant to be involved in each others lives, we will be ultimately bonded forever and find our ways back to each other if we should. My next tattoo will be Guenevire holding the essence of Air and offering it to him standing behind me. Drake, we love you.
